DEAD MEN WALKING - IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Unfortunately tonight's show scheduled for The Marr's Bar in Worcester has been cancelled. As many of you already know Mike Peters has recently been diagnosed with cancer (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia). Due to the start of his treatment it is not possible for Mike to perform tonight and Jim, Kirk and the Captain do not feel that they could do the show justice without Mike alongside them. We are of course very sorry for any disappointment and/or inconvenience caused. This show will be rescheduled for early next year (Feb '06) when the Dead Men reconvene to finish off the recording of their debut album.
Our thoughts are with Mike, wife Jules and son Dylan.
   
 


SERVING TIME WITH DEAD MEN WALKING
Last night's show at The Cavern in Liverpool was a milestone for Jim as he hit the stage for the one hundredth time with his Dead Men Walking comrades. Congratulations Jim! Veterans Mike Peters and Kirk Brandon celebrated their 150th show the previous evening at Josephs Well in Leeds. As Jim observed, how did they manage 50 shows without him?! An honorable mention in dispatches goes to the Captain who made his 35th DMW appearance last night.
   
 


PHOTOS UPDATED - DEAD MEN WALKING - CHRISTMAS TOUR
 Last night Dead Men Walking played the second date of their Christmas UK tour in Leeds - fittingly at a venue which used to be a mortuary! The band were in high spirits and gave a superb performance. As usual it wasn't just about the music, with on-stage banter and the rockin' repertoire entertaining the crowd in equal measure. Reminiscences of 'Top of the Pops' appearances and in particular the female dancers; The Captain's secret passion for Jimmy Savile; An impromptu version of 'Crossroads' after continued jokes about Kirk's facial hair - Jim questioning whether Kirk is going through an 'Eric Clapton stage'; All part of the Dead Men Walking experience! To close the set the band, led by Mike Peters (who gave his usual powerful vocal performance), played a rousing rendition of the Slade classic "Merry Christmas Everybody". With full crowd participation it was a great way to end the evening and start the holidays... MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!
