Dead Men Walking made a stand on the Waterfront last night and the SJP.com camera was on hand to capture events from the wing (view photos). Jim, Mike, Kirk and the Captain took to the stage in their usual high spirits giving the Norwich city crowd no excuse but to party right alongside them. For anyone who has yet to see DMW, the set comprises hit songs from each band members' respective back catalogue, as well as a few classic covers thrown in for good measure. Last night The Who's "My Generation" was given the DMW treatment just before an explosive version of "Rumble in Brighton". Jim literally smashed it up as he sent wooden shards flying from his drum sticks, snapped a rod and ripped through his bass drum skin with the kick pedal! As repairs were made to the broken drum head Captain Sensible seized the opportunity to talk about his pre-punk days spent cleaning toilets and performed, by popular demand(!) his great hit "The Snooker Song" (theme tune from TV gameshow Big Break)!
There are only 4 dates left on the current tour, so whether you're a Goth, a Punk, a Mod or a Rocker, get out there if you can and fight for your right to party with Jim and Dead Men Walking!

The new CD was recorded live at CBGB's in New York on Friday 23rd September, at the beginning of the band's RIGHT TO PARTY 2005 tour. Currently the CD is only available for purchase at the live shows.

DEAD MEN WALKING - RECORDING NEWS
The band made the most of the recently cancelled show at Whitehaven on 9th October and headed for a studio in Liverpool where they recorded 2 brand new songs - the first original tracks penned by the DMW collective. With more recording imminent we'll be back with news when we can.

SJP.com caught up with the RIGHT TO PARTY tour yesterday as the Dead Men continued their assault on the UK in Cleethorpes. The guys rocked through the set which included Stray Cat favourites "Rumble In Brighton", "Runaway Boys" and "Stray Cat Strut". Captain Sensible has certainly made his presence felt, ensuring there's never a dull moment; personified perhaps by the beautiful rendition of his hit "Happy Talk" - performed by 'popular demand'!! Other musical highlights of the evening were renditions of classics "I Fought The Law" and "You Gotta Fight For Your Right To Party". The crowd was also treated to a guest appearance by Big Country's BRUCE WATSON. Finally, as if that wasn't enough, there was a very very special surprise appearance made by The Damned's Dave Vanian - umm or maybe not, that leopard print shirt sure looked familiar!
