ROCKABILLY ROCKING SWING

Slim Jim Phantom is a drumming original who came to prominence with the band "The Stray Cats". Jim started the trend of the stand-up drummer as he played swing and rock combinations that helped to define his style.

This video has captured Jim's humorous personality as he teaches you to play Rockabilly. You will learn to play shuffles, eighth note grooves, Jim's own brand of drum fills and Rockabilly swing grooves.

Jim shows you how to play several of his "Stray Cats" hits like Runaway Boys, Rock This Town and Stray Cat Strut and talks about stage antics and image building.

All this plus jams with Jamie James, lead vocalist and guitarist with "The King Bees", and, the Power Rock Time Table of Contents which helps you locate any lesson quickly and easily.
